Over the past two years, that focus led to the introduction of 20 new-to-the-industry wiring solutions. In 2026, we’re taking the next step by expanding beyond individual products and building a complete ecosystem around them.

These manufacturers don’t just collaborate on compatibility. Many also provide their own in-house training on the benefits of using Xspot to achieve cleaner, more efficient installations of their products—reinforcing Xspot as part of a professional installation standard.
NEW DEMO & PRESENTATION RESOURCES
After the overwhelmingly positive response to the Shades Demo Block, we expanded the concept to help contractors better communicate value to homeowners, builders, architects, and other trades.
Universal Demo Block
Demonstrates Xspot wiring solutions across a wide range of technologies, including:

Camera Demo Block
Designed to demonstrate clean, protected wiring solutions for exterior surveillance cameras on stucco and flat siding applications, where cable protection and finish quality matter.
XSPOT LOCATION MARKER
Xspot solutions are intentionally designed to be invisible until final equipment installation. However, Production and Spec Home Builders asked for a way to show homeowners that the house has been fully wired for technology.
Xspot’s solution: a removable QR location marker that identifies the exact wire location behind the wall.
When scanned, the QR code:
Explains the home’s hidden wiring system
Highlights the benefits of future-ready infrastructure
Shows that technology planning was built in from the start
This allows builders to communicate value without compromising a clean finished look.
MORE NEW WIRING SOLUTIONS
Innovation remains at the core of Xspot. While 20 new solutions were introduced over the last two years, ongoing conversations with dealers revealed additional challenges technicians face every day.
In Development for 2026:
New shade wiring products designed specifically for block and commercial construction
Masonry wiring solutions that protect cables and create in-wall space for cable runs, reducing or eliminating the need for electrical boxes in certain applications
Improved Trimports with openings large enough to pass RJ45 connectors
Conduit caps that protect openings, manage wire tails, hold jet lines - using colored conduit caps to clearly mark locations or system types.
Sheetrock liner designs for Josh.ai microphones, recessed security sensors, and HVAC temperature sensors
Each solution is built to reduce install friction, protect the wire path, and deliver a cleaner finished result.
NEW ORDERING APPLICATION APP
We’re also developing a new ordering application designed to simplify how contractors find, select, and order Xspot solutions.
The app will make it easier to:
Identify the correct solution by application
Build consistent, repeatable orders
Reduce ordering errors
Save time from specification through installation
