Collider™ PoE-15
Intelligent Power Distribution for PoE Motorized Shades
Collider is a plenum-rated PoE power distribution unit designed specifically for motorized window treatments. Its 15 PoE motor ports provide a scalable foundation for residential and commercial projects, while built-in testing and control features help simplify installation and deployment.
Collider can be installed in a rack, on a DIN rail or in a wall enclosure. It requires no specialized networking knowledge and includes built-in motor-test buttons, a translation layer for compatible third-party control systems and support for the Bond Home platform.
Available configurations offer multiple power options. Select DC models can keep shades operating for up to three weeks without utility power or operate continuously with a compatible solar solution.
THE COMBINED SOLUTION
One Complete PoE Shade Solution
A successful PoE shade installation involves more than delivering power to the motor. The category wire must be precisely placed, protected throughout construction, easily located when the shade is installed and professionally finished without compromising the cable or its connections. Modern Atomics’ Collider and the Xspot Shades solution work together to address this complete installation path—from centralized PoE power distribution to the final connection at each window.
Xspot protects the cable and stored slack, keeps the connection accessible for installation and future service, and helps dealers deliver a clean, repeatable finish. The XPOE grommet provides a dedicated Keystone port within a compact trim solution, while its removable Snap Cap conceals the connection when closed. Together, Modern Atomics and Xspot help protect system performance behind the wall while delivering the professional appearance clients expect.
Learn the Preferred Installation Method
Modern Atomics is introducing its dealers to Xspot as a preferred installation method for motorized shades. Training connects the complete process—from intelligent PoE power distribution to proper cable placement, protection, location and finished trim.
Dealers can access product education, installation guidance, design assistance and project support from both Modern Atomics and Xspot.
