Higher grade and larger magnet, the new Xtreme works better through wood and sheet rock. Because of all this new power we added a groove around the outside of the tool, so it doesn’t fly out of your hand when you find the Xspot (yes, it is that powerful).
XCENTRIC
Reengineered to make it more rigid, installing straight and even. Slightly larger and thicker. to make it even more stable. (Bonus) The new XScrews - #8 Trusshead, self-tapping screws for wood or metal, works almost anywhere.
XSTRAP
Doubling the magnet size, and again a higher grade, adding more power on top of the larger magnets. The same new groove around the outside making it easier to hold. Even with the larger magnets we were able to lighten the tool by 30%, increasing the strength by lessening the drag.
XRING
The only mud ring designed to be sheet rocked over to give you the best fit when you trim it out. The new mounting holes inside the body make for an even better flush fit behind the wall.
